Additionally, compared to men, women have entirely different profile setups. Men can only publish up to four photos, but women can upload more than four photos, sometimes even videos. They can even upload private photos that you must request to view. The profiles of the women also include an "interview" section. They elaborate on their likes and dislikes, respond to hypothetical questions, and share other interesting facts in this part. Women are also not asked to state whether they’d be willing to travel outside of Asia or not, whereas men are asked to answer this question. It is our belief that the women's profiles are considerably more detailed than the men's profiles because AsianDate is attempting to entice male members to contact them.

AsianDate encourages their male members to completely fill out their profiles, otherwise ladies will be unable to view or contact them. However, we question the accuracy of that claim because shortly after signing up, you will receive thousands of messages from potential matches. That tells us that women are, in fact, able to reach out to men. Some of these ladies will contact you up to 20 times with no response, and while this may be flattering to some men, we find this behaviour suspicious and bothersome.

If you ever want to put a smile on your lady’s face, this feature might come in handy. Virtual gifts are cute icons you can send her to make her feel special. They are very similar to stickers and emojis, and there is a wide variety to choose from. You will love this feature if you have a webcam. This feature allows you and your match to turn on your webcams while you chat. At this point in time, this feature only supports video viewing, meaning that you will not be able to speak to each other. There is no need to plan a session, unlike AsianDate's calling feature. You can do this at any time as long as your lady has this function activated on her end. Chatting is fun, but there might be times when you wish you could see your lady’s face in real time as you communicate. First and foremost, creating an account is 100% free, but as a non-paying member of AsianDate, you won’t be able to enjoy many of the site’s features. At this present moment, free members are only able to view profiles, photos, and broadcasts; customise their own profiles; use the search filters; and read letters. This may seem like a lot, but it’s not because none of these features allows you to personally interact with any of the women. 

In order for you to freely use AsianDate.com, you will have to purchase a subscription plan. Paying members can send letters, use live chat, send virtual and tangible gifts, make phone calls, view videos, and use CamShare. AsianDate may use your personal information to “co-register” your profile on their partner sites. As mentioned previously, AsianDate is owned by SOL Networks Limited, which is an IT company that has a slew of dating sites. They own Dating.com, AnastasiaDate.com, ArabinanDate.com, and many more niche dating sites. By registering for AsianDate, you automatically give them permission to use your personal information to register you on other dating sites in their network. For this review, we joined AsianDate, and received advertising emails and messages from women on AnastasiaDate.com, indicating that this is a practice that they actively enforce.

We consider this to be an infringement on people's privacy. Men join AsianDate because they have a vested interest in Asian women and they’re trying to find an AsianDate. They would have voluntarily joined if they had desired to be a part of any of those other websites. Nobody wants their private data to be utilised on websites that they are not interested in. Additionally, each of their affiliate websites has their own privacy policies and terms of service. Even though they didn't initially ask to be a part of these websites, members of AsianDate are unintentionally accepting these conditions by using the service.

Third Party Involvement

AsianDate collaborates with third parties who may store cookies on your device while you use AsianDate.com. These cookies are used to monitor your online activities, which may result in you seeing advertisements on websites other than AsianDate. While this is common on many websites and not necessarily harmful, it is still an invasion of privacy which some people may find unmerited. Furthermore, AsianDate may share your personal data with outside parties for a variety of purposes, but they don't go into great detail about the specifics of the data they disclose. According to multiple sources, AsianDate was sued in 2015 for the unauthorised use of photos depicting Asian women on their website. To begin with, all the women are utilising professional images of themselves that appear to be from a photoshoot. There are hardly any casual photos. Second, despite having an empty profile with no photo or information about yourself, you will receive thousands of messages from hundreds of different women. While this is flattering, it is also unrealistic and sketchy. Thirdly, they are constantly online, even when it is very late at night in Asia.

Due to the aforementioned reasons, we are highly wary of AsianDate, and we advise everyone to do their due diligence before becoming a member of this community. At the same time, there is a CamShare feature that allows you to see your lady on camera. Additionally, if you decide to send her flowers or a gift, AsianDate will take a photo of her upon delivery and send it to you. So, while there are reasons to suspect AsianDate is deceptive, there is also evidence to support its credibility.

Scam Reimbursement 

AsianDate will reimburse you if you happen to fall victim to a scam. You are eligible for reimbursement if you communicate with someone who pretends to be someone else or someone whose profile details have been falsified. For example, if their profile indicates that they have no children, but during chat, you discover that they do in fact have kids, then you can request compensation from AsianDate. You also qualify for compensation if someone asks you for money or expensive gifts. That member will be subsequently banned from the site for such actions. Overall, we believe that AsianDate is worth checking out if you’re looking for an Asian woman to date, but we do not think it is a site you can use on a long-term basis. Many of the women are looking for a partner; some are even willing to visit your country or relocate. You can talk to a wide variety of Asian women on the site, and there is no chance that you will ever grow bored thanks to the many features that are available to enhance your experience. There are also many different communication methods, ranging from live chat to phone calls. Additionally, there are broadcasts you can watch if you’re not in a chatty mood. 

While AsianDate has potential, there are a few major drawbacks that you should be mindful of, including the costly credits that quickly run out and the possibility of fake profiles, with the latter being the biggest concern.
